Before the garden takes shape.
A practical checklist for the first conversation. Start with what you know; the rest becomes part of the brief.
Four things worth thinking about
- The site, approximate size and the way you want to use it.
- Sun, shade, privacy, maintenance and water questions.
- The atmosphere, materials and planting character you enjoy.
- The local professionals who will develop and deliver the actual work.
A first conversation is a starting point
Submitting an inquiry asks the team to respond. It does not confirm a booking, order, delivery date or price. The next step is to clarify your request and, where appropriate, prepare a written scope or proposal.
Garden concepts are discussion aids. Site surveys, plant suitability, technical design, construction, permits and regulated work require qualified local professionals and separate agreements.
Keep the initial request simple
Do not include payment-card details, passwords, government identity numbers, medical information or confidential third-party documents. If project files are needed, the team will agree an appropriate way to share them after the first conversation.
